Plan of Action for Re-Opening Daughtry Park - Phase 3

Due to the ongoing concerns about COVID-19, social distancing, safety for children, adults and senior citizens, the following measures will be enacted and will continue through the Fall. While these are intended to address a number of concerns about recreational activities on County property for the next three months or so, please understand that if circumstances change, the County may revise these measures, extend or reduce dates, or otherwise cancel or postpone programs and offerings if needed. We hope that cooperation from everyone will help us all through these next few months and ensure our ability to reopen services with confidence in the safety and well-being of everyone.
- Youth and Adult Fall Sports will be played with the following guidelines in place (a detailed list can be found at www.bcdls.org):
o Staff and Volunteers MUST wear masks/Spectators are strongly encouraged to wear masks
o Social Distancing must be followed by all spectators
o Bleachers will be removed/Parents encouraged to bring their own chairs
o Hand Sanitizer Stations will be placed at entrance of each sports facility
o Game Times will be staggered as much as possible
- Doubles in Tennis is allowed
- Gymnastics Classes will begin September 1st. Gymnastics Team Practices will continue.
- Outdoor Pavilion will be available for rentals. Max of 50 people.
- Playgrounds will be opened for play at your own risk. Signs will be posted.
- Bathrooms will be open during BCDLS events (practices, games, etc.)
- Tournaments will be allowed as long as guidelines are followed through Sanctioned Organization
- Concessions will be open for games and tournaments with safety and sanitation measures in place.

All of the above will be allowed with the understanding that if the guidelines are not being followed, the County will be forced to close the park again.
