basketball-4838 2015/2016  Basketball Important Notes: The 5&6 year old Basketball instructional program will be held on Tuesdays at 6pm starting January 5th.  This program will run six weeks finishing up on February 9th.  All instruction will take place in the community center gym.  Participants will receive a shirt and Lil’ Champ ball included with their fee. The 6-8 year old youth league is co-ed.  All games will be held at the Community Center. The 9/10, 11/12, 13 /14, and 15/16 age group teams will compete in house.  In the event, we do not have four teams in a league, we will play in the Henry County League.   Away games will be played in Henry County. Home games will be played at the Community Center or the Jackson High School Competition Gym. Games will be played during the week and Saturdays. Transportation to away games will be the responsibility of the parents (Directions will be provided).  Parent Meetings will be held at each team’s first practice.


Spring Soccer: Deadline to register is January 22nd

Spring Age Groups: U8, U10, and U12 Leagues League Registrations will need to be sufficient to have four teams in an age group. If U12 registration is not enough for four teams, we will play in the Henry County League and there will be travel involved. Games will begin in early March and finish in mid-May.  

Youth Baseball & Softball Registration: Deadline to register is February 15th

Register at the Butts County Community Center from 9 am-5 pm or go to bcdls.org and click on the blue sombrero link.

Important: Please stop by the office to check uniform sizes for your player.

Reorders due to incorrect sizing will require an additional fee.

3 & 4 Year Old Blastball (Co-ed): Come and play the game with a honking base! A fast paced game that teaches fundamentals and is ideal for a young person’s attention span. Played with a tee, a foam bat and ball (no glove required). Come have FUN playing blastball! Players will receive a team shirt and hat. Cost is $30

5 & 6 Year Old Pitching Machine League: Learn the fundamentals of the sport and start hitting off a consistent pitch. Participants receive a team shirt, pants, socks, and hat. Cost is $50

Softball Leagues: Age Control Date is January 1, 2016


7 & 8 year olds $65           11 & 12 year olds $75
