WE ARE SO PROUD! On Tuesday, June 17th, REC Force Head Coach Jason Edwards along with Assistant Coach Jessica Edwards and two REC Force Tumble athletes traveled to Louisville, KY to compete at the USTA National Competition. USTA stands for the United States Tumbling & Trampoline Association. REC Force athletes Merrilee Parson (9) and Kaitlyn Eidson (10) both placed 1st in the USTA GA State Meet held in May, which qualified them for the National Meet. The USTA Nationals is the largest tumbling &t rampoline competition in the country. Teams from all over the United States come to the national meet for a chance to become a National Champion, and be invited to become a member of the USTA National Team. Our REC Force athletes did amazing this year. Merrilee competed in the 9 year old Sub Novice Division and took 18th place out of 41 athletes. Kaitlyn Eidson competed in the 9/10 year old Intermediate Division and placed 30 out of 38 competitors. Thank you to Jason, Jessica, Merrilee, Kaitlyn and their families for all of their effort and dedication to the REC Force program!!!
