NEW IN 2015 – SPRING SELECT BASEBALL & SOFTBALL!  WHAT IS SELECT BASEBALL & SOFTBALL??

Select” Baseball/Softball is a competitive opportunity for players and teams as they improve their skills and want to continue to play baseball/softball at a more competitive level than traditional recreational baseball/softball. It is intended for highly skilled players to have an opportunity to compete against other highly skilled players. Players are drafted according to skill level, and not every player who tries out will make the select team. Players, parents and coaches are to expect a greater time & travel commitment, with more practices and travel than recreational baseball. Any player who is not chosen for a select team will be assigned to the recreational league. zumba-logo-verticalyello1JuanitaGET FIT WITH ZUMBA!
Get fit while having big fun with our new Zumba instructor, Juanita White, with classes at 10 Saturdays, 7 pm Tuesdays, and 7 pm Thursdays, all at the Butts County Community Center, 576 Ernest Biles Dr., Jackson.  Only $5 per class  Click HERE for video of our own class with Juanita; click HERE for the official Zumba site, and click HERE for more Zumba video.
How It Works: We take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check.
Benefits: A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.
