GENERAL PURPOSE: This Basketball Camp strives to provide a high quality training session for youth basketball players ages 8 - 17.

HOURS OF OPERATION: The Basketball Camp will be held Saturday, June 15th and will have two 4-hour sessions for a total of 8 hours of training

The Morning Session is 8am-12noon and will be for foundation skill training.

The Afternoon Session is 1pm-4pm and will be for elite skill training.             

PAYMENT: The cost of camp is $65. Payment is due at the time of registration. This fee will be paid in the office or online. Please make checks payable to Butts County. 

ATTIRE: Campers should wear basketball shoes and dress appropriately in basketball shorts and athletic tee shirt. Campers will also need a personal water bottle to use at water stations.

LUNCH: Campers will receive lunch along with something to drink during the lunch period 12noon-1pm. The skills camp staff will not leave the facility to get any child lunch. Snack and Refreshments will be provided 2 hours into each session to keep players energized. Please communicate any food allergies to office staff. 

MEDICATION: If a child is to receive medication while at camp, the Program Coordinator must have a completed Authorization to Administer Medication form on file. All medication must remain in the original container from the pharmacy. 

 ACCIDENTS & ILLNESSES: If a child is injured at our facility, a certified staff member will administer first aid. Parents then will be contacted in cases that are serious enough to warrant communication. If a staff member is unable to reach the parent(s), the emergency phone number (which should have been provided by the parent) will be called in an effort to find someone to come for the child. If an emergency occurs and parents/emergency contact person cannot be reached, an ambulance will be called at parent's expense. 

SIGN - IN/OUT: An attendance log must be kept on all children that attend the skills camp. Parents are asked to walk their child in and sign them in on time. Parents are also required to walk in and sign their children out at the end of each session.  

DISCIPLINE: Discipline is a joint effort on the part of the staff and child with the assistance of the parents. Specific rules of behavior are explained at the begin of camp.
