Goals & Objectives of Basketball:

1. To provide an opportunity for youth to participate in an organized basketball program.

2. Teach the progressive skills and an understanding of the rules and strategies of basketball.

3. Develop skills and teach teamwork & sportsmanship to all players.

4. To allow the youth to have fun and enjoy playing the game of basketball.

 

Registration Dates: 8/5/2024 - 10/18/2024 

Age Control Date: Prior to September 1st, 2024 

Registration Location: Butts County Community Center or online at bcdls.org 

Ages: 4 to 12 years old (Age Control Date: Sept. 1, 2024)

 

Leagues & Fees: 

6U (4-6) year old Youth Basketball $85.00   

8U (7&8) year old Youth Basketball $95.00                        

10U (9&10) year old Youth Basketball $95.00                       

12U (11&12) year old Youth Basketball $95.00               

 

Uniforms: Player will receive a uniform (jersey and shorts) included in their fee. Player must provide own socks & tennis shoes. No black sole tennis shoes please!

 

Player Evaluation Dates: Each registered youth must attend a player evaluation practice before they can be assigned to a team. Player evaluation dates are TBD and will be scheduled at a later date. The Evaluation Division Schedule will be emailed out as of now its TBA and depending on number of participants registered. If your child cannot attend the scheduled evaluation, they will still be drafted and placed on a team once evaluations take place.

** If it is determined that we don’t have enough participants to form a complete team in any age division, we will not have a team, and you will be notified in a timely manner.**

 

 

Player/Parent Meeting: A mandatory player/parent meeting will be held on the first scheduled practice for all age groups, conducted by Head Coaches.

 

Games are set to begin as of January: Date is TBA after we meet with our League Partners.
